This Kohanga Reo in Birkenhead, Northshore was designed Bull O’Sullivan Architecture, one of NZ’s most accomplished, if not the best architectural firms, winning NZ architect of the year many times over. We were employed by the Te Kohanga Reo National Trust and this building was the highest spec Kohanga Reo designed in NZ to date.‍

Designed by Jasmax, Reid Builders constructed the orange spiral staircase in the centre of the Beehive office complex at Smales Farm business park. What you see is a welded metal structure wrapped and laminated in high quality timber panelling. This building took out a plethora of architectural awards including ‘work office space of the year’. It has featured in multiple magazines and the likes of The Herald. It was truly a pleasure to be part of this project.‍
